Advanced visualization and analysis software firm Claron Technology plans to introduce NilFeed, an image sharing extension for its Nil medical image viewers, at next month's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting.
Using NilFeed, a Nil site can collaborate with any external medical facility, regardless of imaging infrastructure, without the need for a dedicated virtual private network (VPN) connection.
NilFeed is also recognized by DICOM networks as a service-class provider, enabling images to be pushed to Nil from any PACS. It also supports DICOM file import through Windows' drag-and-drop mechanism.
