PACS software developer DR Systems has received a U.S. patent related to its systems and methods for interleaving series of medical images.
U.S. Patent No. 7885440 describes how after selecting two or more image series for comparison, images of the image series are interleaved so that they are alternatively displayed in a comparison pane on a display device, according to the vendor. This allows for a "quick flip" capability, DR Systems said.
The listed technology inventors are Dr. Evan Fram, Steven Greim, Dr. Murray Reicher, and John Schumacher.
