Video conferencing developer StatVideo has introduced tele-EchoBox, an echocardiography telemedicine system.
Tele-EchoBox combines StatVideo's EchoBox video conferencing system for remote review of real-time echocardiography images over the Web with EchoCam, a video camera. As a result, users can view both the patient and real-time echocardiography images simultaneously, according to the vendor.
