The Vendor-Neutral Architecture Institute of Technology (VNAIT) said it has passed the 400-member mark this month.
VNAIT aims to give medical professionals information on archiving technologies based on open and universal IT standards that permit the sharing of patient information across healthcare boundaries, according to its sponsor, healthcare informatics firm TeraMedica. The institute began operating in 2010, and has also attracted a number of new corporate sponsors lately, including IBM, TeraMedica said.
