Sony Electronics has released its new medical-grade monitor, model PVM-2551MD, based on organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology.
The new 25-inch monitor recently received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is designed for a variety of surgical procedures, such as endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and general surgery, the firm said.
Features include 10-bit signal processing, lightweight design, and reduced power consumption requirements for energy efficiency.
