PACS and RIS software developer Paxeramed has released the second generation of its Ultima teleradiology software.
The release includes new features such as faster streaming for image retrieval, a customizable color-coded worklist, advanced search criteria, image comparison between two or more studies, and advanced hanging protocols, according to the company. Other new capabilities include anonymized sharing to social media and HIPAA-compliant mobile viewing.
Paxeramed said it has also introduced a prepaid, per-study payment model with no contract or commitment to a predetermined number of studies.
