Display firm NDS Surgical Imaging has released its Dome GX4MP radiology display, a 4-megapixel (MP), 30-inch, widescreen model that displays both color and grayscale images.
The new monitor, which has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has a resolution of 2500 x 1600 pixels. It features factory characterization data stored in the panel and is monitored by the company's internal photometer to maintain DICOM calibration for the life of the unit.
A fanless cooling system helps eliminate dust, excessive noise, and associated mechanical failure, according to the company. The display weighs 27 lb and has a five-year warranty.
