Advanced visualization and PACS firm Visage Imaging has released version 7.1.2 of its Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform.
The new release features enhancements such as lesion tracking with a new structured lesion toolcard, configurable rules-based assignment of relevant prior exams, and enhanced batching tools from curved planar reformatted views, according to the vendor. Visage has also incorporated user-interface ergonomics to enable dragging and dropping and unloading of image sets, as well as support for digital breast tomosynthesis DICOM images.
Users can also now attach non-DICOM files such as scanned documents, photos, and PDFs to existing imaging studies. In other new features, Visage 7.1.2 provides protocol handler integration for mobile app-to-app integration with the company's Visage Ease mobile application. It can also manage launching of images from PC, Mac, and mobile client devices.
In addition, the software now offers closed-loop integration with Nuance Communications' PowerScribe 360 software via its Multi-site Workflow Orchestrator, Visage said.
