Cloud-based imaging platform developer DICOM Grid has partnered with the Doximity online network to enable single-button sign-on for streamlined image and information sharing between physicians, the companies said.
The single-button function enables authorized users of Doximity's network for U.S. physicians to easily access DICOM Grid's medical image exchange platform. Much like signing on securely to a website, DICOM Grid enables Doximity subscribers to access images immediately on a real-time, HIPAA-compliant cloud-based platform, DICOM Grid said.
The application will improve communications between referring physicians and other clinicians at the point of care, according to the companies.
