BridgeHead Software's file archiving data and storage management system for PACS image data protection has been successfully tested by Fujifilm Medical Systems USA at a U.S. hospital.
Fuji conducted the testing with BridgeHead's software, which, in addition to offering an archiving system, provides protection of PACS images against image loss, BridgeHead said. The testing exercise was carried out to ensure that the protection does not disrupt the PACS cardiology system's workflow.
Fuji conducted interoperability testing of its Synapse Cardiovascular system and Synapse Cardiovascular Archiver together with BridgeHead to determine the complete functionality of the image files communication.
