Advanced visualization developer TeraRecon is showcasing its suite of iNtuition vendor-neutral applications at the 2012 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
The firm is highlighting clinical enhancements to its iNtuition tools, particularly in support of oncology, cardiovascular, and clinical research. These include enhanced lobular decomposition features, support of PET images acquired with new tracers, and tracking of volumes and measurements over time, TeraRecon said.
The company will also showcase iNtuition Review, which expands the client capability of iNtuition to support advanced professional multimodality, multimonitor review. In addition, TeraRecon's iNtuitionShare facilitates CD-free transport and distribution of images between medical facilities and physicians or patients.
TeraRecon is also touting its iNtuition Enterprise Medical Viewer (iEMV), a browser-based viewer that does not require download, installation, or plug-ins. It integrates with the advanced visualization scene files from iNtuition Client and multimodality case presentations from iNtuition Review.
iNtuitionCloud allows the full capability of iNtuition to be deployed via a Web browser, either as an externally hosted managed service or as an in-house private service. New accounting features help iNtuitionCloud operators track usage and bill accordingly, the firm said.
TeraRecon also announced that more than 9,000 iNtuition licenses have been deployed globally. With 10 to 20 concurrent users typically supported with a single iNtuition license, the company estimates that it has in excess of 20,000 concurrent users of iNtuition advanced visualization tools globally.
