Computer pen display developer Wacom Technology has introduced a new interactive pen and touch display, the DTH-2242, targeted at healthcare professionals.
The 21.5-inch display with a direct pen-on-screen input may be used to draw and annotate on radiographic images to explain a surgical procedure or highlight a specific point of interest. A multitouch gesture-support feature provides simple, fast scrolling and intuitive navigation through a patient's medical records. The DTH-2242 has five user-customizable ExpressKeys for user shortcuts and functions, as well as the ability for users to zoom in on diagnostic or other types of clinical images.
The DTH-2242 supports intuitive navigation and both standard and custom gestures for enhanced workflow. Five user-customizable ExpressKeys, located on the display's bezel, provide easy access to commonly used shortcuts and functions. Additionally, presenters will find USB ports on either side of the DTH-2242. DVI-I video input ensures that the interactive pen and touch display can be used with virtually any projection system.
