Growth in telemedicine customers and usage contributed to a profitable 2012 for telemedicine and PACS developer Net Medical Xpress.
The vendor reported 2012 revenue of $3.9 million, up 21.8% over the $3.2 million turned in during fiscal 2011. Net Medical Xpress also moved into the black, recording net income of $5,000; the firm had a net loss of $224,000 a year ago.
CEO Dick Govatski said the company expects ongoing growth in both customers and usage of its systems and programs during 2013.
