Telemedicine and PACS developer Net Medical Xpress will introduce the newest version of its WebRTC Web-based telemedicine software at the forthcoming meeting of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), being held May 5-7 in Austin, TX.
WebRTC is designed to work with Google, Chrome, and Firefox browsers, eliminating the need for plug-ins, downloads, and other proprietary installations.
The Albuquerque-headquartered company will also showcase its Safety Pilot security platform connected to Panasonic high-definition video cameras, which can be accessed by physicians with credentialing privileges at hospitals using the Net Medical Specialists service.
Net Medical Xpress said it will be promoting a new program for customers offering audio and video equipment used for telemedicine at no cost, as well as its consultative security services for wireless networks.
