Net Medical Xpress launches Gold Seal program

Telemedicine and PACS developer Net Medical Xpress Solutions has created a Gold Seal partnership program for mobile medical providers.

Through the Gold Seal membership program, nearly 275 mobile medical units and more than 385 stenographers/technicians will be available across the U.S. to support rehab facilities, home visits, nursing homes, long-term care operations, and jails, according to the company.

To participate, mobile medical providers must be in good standing, with equipment cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and in full compliance with state, Medicare, Medicaid, or applicable regulatory endorsements, Net Medical Xpress said. Participating sites must also use the company's XR-Express Radiology and XR-Express Technician QA programs, and be a member of the firm's XR-Express Technology Users Group.

In addition, Gold Seal partners must be capable of handling Web real-time communications (WebRTC) traffic as specified and directed by Net Medical Xpress, and should have an established relationship with a testing lab, the firm said.
