Orthopedic PACS firm Medstrat has posted documents on its website confirming the terms of dismissal of a lawsuit between Medstrat and healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare.
The lawsuit was dismissed in February, but Medstrat claims that its customers and sales prospects have continued to receive "inaccurate information" about the lawsuit and the terms of its resolution, according to the firm.
"The lawsuit's accusations were unproven and Medstrat did not pay Merge to drop them -- indeed, Merge actually owes obligations to Medstrat under the settlement agreement," Medstrat said in a statement.
