eClipse Healthcare Solutions said it is rounding off its eClipse imaging platform with the introduction of advanced visualization software and Web-based image sharing.
The Myrian advanced visualization modules were developed in cooperation with French firm Intrasense, which designs 2D and 3D viewing and image-analysis software. Myrian integrates into existing devices such as computed radiography (CR), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine equipment, eClipse said. Myrian modules can be used to reconstruct images from CT, MRI, and PET scans.
The firm's eClipse Medical Image Share system for Web-based image sharing was developed in partnership with FreedomPACS. It is HIPAA-compliant, incorporates DICOM standards, and can be accessed on PC or Mac as well as mobile platforms such as iPad and Android, eClipse said.
Users of eClipse Medical Image Share can email images, convert them to JPEGs, or keep them as DICOM images, eClipse said.
