Image management firm Heart Imaging Technologies (HeartIT) has unveiled its WebPax Universal Viewer.
The new zero-footprint viewer can provide a unified diagnostic viewing application for all radiology and cardiology images, according to the vendor. Images can be viewed on any computer with any Web browser, as well as on mobile platforms such as tablets and smartphones, HeartIT said.
The viewer can also be employed with any existing PACS or vendor-neutral archive infrastructure and can be interfaced with an electronic medical record (EMR) to integrate images with a patient's EMR, HeartIT said.
