NEC Display Solutions of America has received 510(k) market clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its 21-inch MultiSync MD211G5 medical-grade monitor.
The MD211G5 is an LED-backlit, in-plane switching (IPS) diagnostic display featuring factory DICOM calibration and uniformity control for imaging across the entire screen.
In addition, NEC's GammaCompMD quality assurance software performs routine display configuration to ensure image quality.
