The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) will host a Hackathon at its 2014 annual meeting.
A new addition to SIIM's annual conference, the Hackathon will aim to demonstrate the power of using Web technologies to securely access patients' records, according to SIIM. The society is also calling on vendors or individuals to supply an application programming interface (API) for the Hackathon, which will take place throughout the annual meeting.
