Royal Philips, parent company of Philips Healthcare, is introducing a new medical display for clinician review of images.
The Philips Clinical Review Display is optimized for viewing x-ray images and features LED technology for crisp, clear images, the firm said.
The monitor comes equipped with the factory-calibrated Clinical D-image function, which enables DICOM-part-14-compatible standard display performance for viewing fine details. The function can be selected from the on-screen display known as SmartImage Clinic, allowing the user to transfer from DICOM clinical imaging to personal settings for viewing administrative tasks, the company said.
Finally, optimized pixel-management technologies provide extra-wide 178°/178° viewing for sharper images even in 90° pivot mode, Philips said.
