PACS technology developer Accelarad has introduced Connect America, a nationwide image sharing platform.
The program aims to connect hospitals, doctors, and patients via the cloud, according to the vendor. The platform enables medical professionals to share images instantly; doctors and patients can access the images online and through a custom iPhone or iPad app, Accelarad said.
The program was initially available in only eight regional markets, but it has now been expanded to the entire U.S., the company said.
