PACS vendor RamSoft has unveiled PowerServer Nube, a Spanish-language RIS/PACS for the Latin American market.
A hosted platform that's available on a pay-per-study basis, Nube is designed to appeal to markets in Latin America that have previously found RIS/PACS to be cost-prohibitive due to having to purchase multiple servers to run disparate software, according to the company.
The cloud-based Nube is scalable and suitable for imaging centers, radiology groups, and hospital imaging departments, RamSoft said. It operates on a single database workflow engine.
