Advanced visualization and analysis firm Claron Technology will release extended modality support for its Nil universal zero-footprint medical viewers at RSNA 2013.
Claron will also showcase new support for high-definition MPEG-4 videos as well as all common image formats, including JPEG, TIFF, and PNG, according to the vendor. The Nil viewer family includes NilShare for referring physicians and NilRead for diagnostic use.
The viewers will also support the full cross-enterprise document sharing (XDS) Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) profile, including HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) documents. The Nil viewer family offers cache-less integration with remote archives, including PACS and vendor-neutral archives (VNAs), by streaming data without caching it, Claron said.
