PACS vendor RamSoft has upgraded several of its systems and is showcasing them at RSNA 2013.
The latest version of PowerServer, version 6.0, with the new RamSoft Console allows users to launch applications on their smartphones. PowerServer is compliant with stage 2 meaningful use regulations and addresses the requirement to have all orders and clinical information received electronically, while eliminating the need for many HL7 interfaces and manual processes necessary to capture required patient data, RamSoft said. It will also send reports and links to images directly to referring physician electronic health records (EHRs).
PowerServer 6.0 supports localization for international markets with multiple languages, as well as customization to local healthcare requirements, the company said. Data transfer compression/decompression rates of images have been sped up as well.
In addition to PowerServer upgrades, the RapidResults physician portal automatically sends diagnostic reports and study images to referring physicians, and it now has enhanced functionality, such as window/level and the ability to view more than one image at a time.
