GNAX Health has released a new image management system for healthcare providers at RSNA 2013 in Chicago.
GNAX Health created a suite of products typically sold and purchased separately: a vendor-neutral archive, universal viewer, CD management tool, and image exchange software and combined them into a modular image management platform.
The company also wrote its own image exchange software, Secure DICOM Exchange (SDEX). It controls access and integration with the electronic medical record system and universal viewer, and manages foreign study ingests.
GNAX Health also offers the entire system with a single service and support model.
The Colorado Telehealth Network (CTN), part of the Colorado Hospital Association, is providing the GNAX system to all of its member hospitals, creating a statewide archive and exchange for medical images. The first CTN member hospital has started its implementation, and several more are expected to begin in 2014, GNAX Health said.
