PACS and RIS software developer Paxeramed showcased its new patient portal offering at the recent RSNA 2013 meeting in Chicago.
The Paxera portal module is designed to allow patients to view their images and radiological reports from any browser or mobile device. It also allows images to be downloaded or shared to Facebook anonymously, according to the vendor.
The portal can run as a standalone package or be embedded into an existing PACS, Paxeramed said.
