Teleradiology services provider Virtual Radiologic (vRad) has received another patent for its image processing technology.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued Patent No. 8,620,684, titled "Organizing Medical Images for Display." The new patent includes claims related to the organization and sequencing of medical imaging and radiology study data.
This marks the 14th patent that vRad has received for its technology.
