Australian imaging products provider Imaging Solutions said it has won a victory in its legal battle with Macro Niche Software.
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas ruled that Macro Niche Software and its owner Michael Ruthemeyer have admitted to engaging in fraud and making negligent misrepresentations, according to Imaging Solutions. All claims against Imaging Solutions have been dismissed.
Macro Niche and Ruthemeyer filed complaints against Imaging Solutions and a number of other entities beginning in August 2012 for copyright infringement, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and civil conspiracy.
Imaging Solutions said it has moved to claim attorney fees in the case. The company said the motion also describes how an award of attorney fees would deter other plaintiffs from filing similar lawsuits.
