Radiology services provider Radisphere plans to launch an independent software company.
The new venture will allow health systems and their radiologists to shift toward value-based care and population health, the company said.
The company will sign noncompete agreements with local radiology groups and will not provide any radiology interpretations or procedures, according to Radisphere. Instead, it will sell software and services to health systems and radiologists to enable standards-based radiology.
Over the next several months, the new firm will announce its management team and further define its products and services, Radisphere said.
