Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare said an Ohio health system will be using its enterprise-wide vendor-neutral archive (VNA), interoperability, and cardiology software.
The choice will enable Blanchard Valley Health System to meet meaningful use stage 2 requirements for the exchange of images, Merge said.
Blanchard Valley is a nonprofit integrated health system with more than 2,000 associates serving eight counties in Ohio. The health system plans to use Merge's iConnect Enterprise Archive VNA and iConnect Access universal-viewing and image-sharing software.
Blanchard Valley will also upgrade its existing Merge PACS network and implement the Merge Cardio and Merge Hemo applications.
