Medical informatics and vendor-neutral archive (VNA) provider TeraMedica plans to highlight a new universal viewer for its Evercore VNA at the upcoming Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2014 meeting.
Univision EV is a browser-based, zero-footprint viewer that supports the display of all standard image formats for any modality and department in native format, according to TeraMedica. It offers an image manipulation toolset, and images can be viewed directly from the Evercore VNA as well as any electronic medical record, the company said.
