Informatics and digital x-ray firm Viztek will show its new Exa electronic health record (EHR) platform at this week's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting.
Exa is embedded into PACS for radiologists to share and exchange data as required by the U.S. government's meaningful use program. Because it is embedded, Exa can store data transmitted through interfaces and allow a radiologist to view a patient's complete medical history, according to the company.
Radiologists can also use Exa to view any imaging study with full capabilities from a single workstation, Viztek said.
