Calgary Scientific said it has released ResolutionMD 4.0, a new version of its software for expanded, secure viewing of healthcare records and images.
ResolutionMD 4.0 allows clinicians to view images securely and render a diagnosis from any Web or mobile device with support for non-DICOM data, Calgary said. The application is part of the cloud-based Dell Unified Clinical Archive.
By adding to the range of supported reporting systems, the update allows clinicians to access the entire patient record for better decision-making. Meanwhile, administrators have better control over how physicians access patient records in an enterprise, increasing security, according to the company.
Calgary recently received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for ResolutionMD for all modalities, as well as China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) certification for diagnosis on mobile devices.
