Image display firm Barco has debuted Eonis 21, a 21-inch, 2-megapixel clinical review display.
Suitable for clinical image review of radiology and cardiology images, Eonis 21 features a 40% higher calibrated luminance and almost twice the contrast ratio of the previous generation, according to the vendor. It offers a full-screen format of a traditional 4:3 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, as well as a front consistency sensor designed to guarantee consistent display of images over time, Barco said.
Eonis 21 features LED backlights and yields DICOM-calibrated brightness of 250 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1, Barco said. It also comes with In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology to provide accurate image display under any viewing angle, according to the firm. Barco's MediCal QAWeb online remote quality assurance and remote assessment management service is also included.
