RIS/PACS firm Novarad has released version 8.2 of its Web-based Marz Universal Viewer software.
Designed to work with its Marz vendor-neutral archive, the new release includes features such as touchscreen gestures, pen annotations, and a magnifying glass, according to the vendor. Other features include lab comparisons, automatic cine, and Novarad's RapidView algorithm, which loads images faster and more efficiently over the Web, the company said.
The new version also provides automatic comparison studies on the software's radiology tab, improved functionality with the upload feature, higher security on information transfers, and patient CD import capability, according to Novarad.
