RIS/PACS firm Novarad has introduced a new image viewer, RapidView, which accompanies the release of an updated version of its Marz Universal Viewer.
RapidView allows users to download images faster, according to Novarad. Instead of loading all images within a study in sequential order, RapidView analyzes the user's behavior and subsequently adapts image loading, the company said.
Novarad's Web-based Marz Universal Viewer 8.2 gives users unlimited access to both DICOM and non-DICOM imaging data. The data are then accessible remotely through a Web browser, mobile device, or image-enabled electronic medical record, according to the firm.
