Informatics and digital x-ray firm Viztek has installed its Opal-RIS and Opal-PACS software at Maui Medical Group in Hawaii.
By integrating Viztek's RIS and PACS with the facility's existing electronic medical record and preventive maintenance systems, Maui Medical plans to decrease study viewing and reporting times for radiologists and reduce redundant data entry for staff.
The medical group performs more than 35,000 exams annually.
