Medical image management technology developer Mach7 Technologies has released version 11.5 of its Enterprise Imaging Platform.
Version 11.5 includes improvements such as metadata normalization, non-DICOM file support, best-of-breed image viewer integration, and advanced life-cycle management, according to the vendor.
The software can now resolve proprietary formats to provide standards-based storage and interoperability across disparate systems, Mach7 said. Furthermore, Enterprise Imaging Platform can now import, archive, and view non-DICOM images, notes, reports, audio, video, and more in their native format, wrapped in DICOM, or both, according to the company.
Plug-and-play specialty visualization software can also be integrated into the platform, and users can define life-cycle management rules to optimize storage and increase image management efficiency, Mach7 said.
