Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare reduced its net loss in the second quarter of 2014 (end-June 30).
Sales decreased to $53.8 million, down 6% from $57.2 million in the second quarter of 2013. The company posted a net loss of $4 million, compared with a net loss of $28.1 million in last year's second quarter.
For the six-month period, sales declined to $104.7 million, down 13% from sales of $120.8 million in the same period of 2013. The company's net loss narrowed to $3.6 million, compared with a net loss of $34.6 million in the same period last year.
