DR Systems has introduced a new feature that enables patients and physicians to upload images and information to its eMix image sharing service by clicking on a Web link placed on a healthcare provider's website.
Patients can click on a button to upload images and other medical records, according to the vendor. eMix then automatically identifies and transmits all files to the designated recipient.
The firm said that all transmissions are protected by eight layers of security.
