PACS firm Intelerad Medical Systems has won a contract with a North Carolina health network for its IntelePACS radiology platform.
Cape Fear Valley Health in Fayetteville will use the software in its five-hospital network. The organization reads more than 300,000 imaging studies per year.
As part of the deal, Cape Fear Valley will also use Intelerad's InteleViewer diagnostic viewer; InteleConnect, which delivers imaging results to referring physicians; and the company's Master Patient Index and dedicated modules for breast imaging, peer review, and teaching files, Intelerad said.
