Grayhill plans to introduce its optically bonded touch-panel technology for medical devices at the upcoming RSNA 2014 meeting.
The company's Instinct touch panel has a screen resolution of 4,096 x 4,096 dots per inch (DPI). It can recognize up to 10 touch points simultaneously, which resolves image readability problems and eliminates the need for device users to look away from the screen to use a mouse or adjust a dial, according to the firm.
