Richardson Electronics will launch a new healthcare division at RSNA 2014.
The new division will focus on high-quality replacement parts for the diagnostic imaging equipment market, such as flat-panel detectors and CT and MRI replacement tubes, along with training and other related products and services. Also, the medical display systems formerly under the North American healthcare segment of Canvys will now be part of the new division.
The display systems include Image Systems diagnostic imaging displays used with PACS, as well as operating room/surgical displays and related solutions.
