RIS/PACS developer Brit Systems and new parent company Imaging Advantage have teamed up to introduce Collaborative Radiology Pool (CRP), a new radiology reading services concept.
CRP comprises marketing, technology, and professional services for a model in which radiologists can submit studies to be read by approved and credentialed radiologists; radiologists can also read studies from the pool for those sites that have approved or credentialed them, according to Brit. Other CRP options include concierge services for 24 x 7-service level tracking, billing, and shared worklist tools for private practices, Brit said.
CRP can be utilized for overflow work, night reading, backup support, specialty reading, or second opinions, according to Brit. After joining CRP, radiologists may read as well as contribute studies to the pool; there are no minimum or monthly requirements, the company said.
