Image compression software developer Accusoft has released upgrades for two of its products.
ImagXpress v13.1 is a new version of the company's software development kit (SDK) for scanning, image compression, viewing, annotation, printing, and document cleanup. The version is designed to use lossless compression to reduce the size of PNG images by up to 89%, improving load times for Web pages, Accusoft said.
The company also launched ScanFix Xpress v8, a new version of its SDK for automatically cleaning up and correcting scanned image files. ScanFix Xpress reduces file sizes and increases the speed and accuracy of subsequent processes, such as optical character recognition, intelligent character recognition, and forms processing, according to Accusoft.
