Imaging software developer Calgary Scientific announced that its ResolutionMD medical imaging software has received certification from the Hong Kong Department of Health's Medical Device Control Office for diagnosis using both Web and mobile devices.
The certificate follows the package's U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance and certification in China, Japan, and Australia, as well as its receipt of the CE Mark in Europe and licensing in Canada, the company said.
Hong Kong's certification covers all imaging modalities except mammography, and it allows ResolutionMD users to make clinical diagnoses using Web, iOS, or Android devices.
