Michael J. Cannavo of Image Management Consultants announced he is providing two new services: PACS arbitration and replacement planning.
Cannavo plans to offer legal arbitration between facilities unsatisfied with their PACS and system vendors. This service consists of a preliminary review of the situation with the client and the development of a strategy to resolve the dispute.
On the equipment planning side, Cannavo will provide facilities with a realistic assessment of the cost of replacing an existing PACS, including a review of the system and an estimate of the cost of switching from the current vendor to a new vendor.
Cannavo has worked with more than 150 facilities, offering PACS design, contracting, and implementation services.
