Agfa HealthCare said that the Royal Commission Medical Center in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, has implemented the vendor's Enterprise Imaging platform.
Agfa said that the institution, which has used Agfa's Impax RIS/PACS software since 2007, was the first in the country to upgrade from Impax to Enterprise Imaging. The agreement also includes Agfa's first managed services contract in Saudi Arabia; that contract will be managed by Agfa distributor Gulf Medical.
