Japanese software developer Jiun has unveiled the second version of its SonicDICOM image management software.
Version 2.0.0 adds support for central processing unit (CPU) multicore image processing, which speeds up image display and manipulation times, according to the company. Jiun said it has also improved SonicDICOM's user interface and incorporated more than 50 new features.
Combining the capabilities of a DICOM server with a Web-based DICOM viewer, SonicDICOM has been used in over 200 countries around the world since its launch in 2013, according to the vendor.
